A new three-story building for Tatar Gymnasium No. 2 named after Shihabetdin Marjani is under construction in the Moscow district of Kazan. It will relieve the main building and house a mentoring school.
Today, work on the site is 87% complete. Specialists are installing the ventilation system, low-voltage system, heating, electrical, water supply, and sewerage systems. They are also installing outdoor lighting, landscaping, wall finishing, and tiling.
The new building will accommodate 270 students. It will feature a sports hall, a gym, a conference room, a multifunctional area, a recording studio, a chemistry lab, 12 classrooms, and a museum dedicated to the educator Shihabetdin Marjani and the artist Baki Urmanche.
Linden trees, spruce trees, and junipers will be planted, grass will be seeded, and small architectural forms will be installed. A playground will be built for children. Treadmills and a workout zone will also be installed.
