The 3.9-hectare boulevard on Serova Street will stretch from the Yardem Mosque to Voskhod Street. The development is being implemented under the federal project "Creating a Comfortable Urban Environment."
This year, work is underway from the mosque to the Serova Street bus stop. The area will feature 12 functional zones, with an emphasis on active landscaping. Parking spaces will be provided along the boulevard, including for people with limited mobility.
Children's playgrounds, sports grounds, and sensory stimulation spaces will be included. One of these will be a sensory garden with various elements, including a "singing stone," a striped mirror, and a chime. A rehabilitation area with aromatherapy and a tactile trail will also be built. The boulevard's design took into account the opinions of city residents and residents of the inclusive sports center. At their request, a boccia court will be installed on the premises, where adults and children with disabilities will be able to practice and compete.
Currently, landscaping work is underway at the site, along with the installation of paving stones, asphalt, wooden and rubber flooring, a tactile path, and a stone carpet. Video surveillance systems, automatic irrigation, storm drainage, and electrical systems are also being installed, along with small architectural forms (SAFs). Interior and exterior finishing work is underway at the pavilion. The technical readiness of the facility is 89%.
