Construction of a kindergarten for 260 children has begun in the Kazan residential complex "Yaratam"
Construction of a kindergarten for 260 children has begun on Bukharskaya Street in the Sovetsky district of the city; it is planned to place pupils in 14 groups of 14–20 people. For the first time, when developing a design project for a preschool institution, the design of the facades of the houses of the residential complex itself was taken into account.
The site area of the two-story kindergarten under construction is more than 9 thousand sq.m., the building area is almost 3 thousand sq.m. The territory will be equipped with 14 children's playgrounds with shade canopies and two more physical education and sports facilities. Almost 3 thousand square meters of territory will be landscaped, asphalt concrete will be laid on 1.4 thousand square meters, and sidewalks will be laid on another 1.2 thousand square meters.
The mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin visited the construction site, as well as the first deputy head of the city executive committee for urban planning policy Azat Nigmatzyanov, head of the Sovetsky district administration Roman Fatkhutdinov, head of the education department Irek Rizvanov and other officials.
“In a recent message from the president of the country, there was a proposal to invest in social infrastructure; kindergartens and schools will be built. Kazan will also take part in this. Now we are located next to the Azino residential area, where housing was first built, and only then social infrastructure. In this residential complex, two houses have been commissioned, the rest are under construction, but the first social infrastructure facilities are already being created. The construction of a school is planned on a nearby site,” noted the head of the city.
Let us remind you that Kazan holds the lead among cities with a population of over a million, with the exception of Moscow and St. Petersburg, in the number of educational institutions built. Over the course of 10 years, 90 kindergartens and 25 schools were built in the capital of Tatarstan. Every available opportunity is used for the construction of social facilities, especially for children. For example, in microdistricts where there are no free plots of land for new schools, and the need for them is great, additional buildings of existing institutions are erected, which are sometimes larger in size than the main buildings.
