The closing ceremony of the II International Construction Championship and the awarding of the winners took place at Kazan Expo. The event was attended by the President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and the Minister of Construction and Housing of the Russian Federation Irek Fayzullin.

Rustam Minnikhanov thanked the Ministry of Construction of Russia and the Rosatom State Corporation for choosing Kazan as a venue for the event, as well as the Russia – the Land of Opportunities platform and Gazprom for their fruitful joint work.

Addressing the participants of the championship, the President of the Republic of Tatarstan noted their high level of competence. “You are the best. The golden gene pool of the Russian construction industry has gathered here. We are proud to have such a powerful potential. More than once our guys proved their skills at the Worldskills championships. I am very pleased that Tatarstan youth also demonstrated their abilities,” Rustam Minnikhanov added.

“We held only the second championship. I am sure that our further actions will be carried out in the same way. The main task of this championship is to increase the prestige of the builder's profession. Thanks to such tournaments, the quality of training of specialists is noticeably increasing, a positive attitude to work is being formed and labor dynasties are being created,” Irek Fayzullin said.

Then the President of Tatarstan and the head of the Ministry of Construction of Russia awarded the winners of the championship in a number of nominations.
