Marat Aizatullin presented the construction potential of the republic
The grand opening of the II International Construction Championship was held at the site of the Kazan Expo exhibition complex, the beginning of which was preceded by a review of exhibition expositions.
President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, Minister of Construction and Housing and Communal Services of the Russian Federation Irek Fayzullin and CEO of Rosatom Alexey Likhachev took part in the inspection of the demonstration stands. Tatarstan's construction potential was presented by the Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Aizatullin.
«Tatarstan is a leader in the Volga Federal District and is among the TOP 6 regions of the Russian Federation in terms of the annual volume of housing commissioned. In 2021, a record 3 million 11 thousand square meters of housing stock were introduced in the Republic,» the head of the Ministry of Construction of the Republic of Tatarstan presented information to the guests.
As Marat Aizatullin noted, to ensure the construction of such a volume of housing, a large and developed team of developers is needed - 108 developers are currently operating in the Republic, 205 MKD with a living area of almost 2 million square meters is under construction. A lot of work is being carried out within the construction and repair of apartment buildings, socio-cultural facilities, modernization of engineering infrastructure and renovation of public spaces.
A programmatic approach helps to systematize the construction process. The «Our Yard» program, which started in 2020, has become unprecedented on the scale of Russia. Within two years, 2,167 yard territories were equipped within the framework of the program, this year the work will be completed on 1,212 yards.
Recall that these days the II International Championship of Professional Skills in the field of industrial construction is being held in Kazan at the site of the Kazan Expo IEC. The Championship was established by the Ministry of Construction and Housing and Communal Services of the Russian Federation and the State Atomic Energy Corporation Rosatom in 2020. The first Championship was held in Sochi in 2021, and in 2022 Kazan won the right to host the II International Championship of Professional Skills in the field of industrial construction.
The championship is an excellent platform for demonstrating the unique skills and professional skills of the participants. The main purpose of the event is to increase the prestige and popularization of working professions, the competitiveness of Russian construction products on the international market and the development of solutions to strategic tasks in industrial construction.
