A number of new facilities opened in Kazan

A number of new facilities were opened in Kazan with the participation of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov. One of the objects of the visit was the madrasah “Muhammadiya”. Minister of Construction and Housing and Public Utilities of the Russian Federation Irek Fayzullin, State Councilor of Tatarstan Mintimer Shaimiev, Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin, as well as Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing and Public Utilities of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Aizatullin took part in the visit to the facility.

The seminary was founded in 1882, but after the events of 1917 the seminary was closed. In 2021, the educational building of the madrasah was restored and the construction of additional facilities began - a hostel and an administrative building. Rustam Minnikhanov toured the new buildings and got acquainted with the social and living conditions of students and teachers.

The hostel of the madrasah “Muhammadiya” is designed for 54 people. The building provides 17 living rooms, 3 rooms for people with limited mobility, a gym, 2 self-study classes and other technical utility rooms.

The President also took part in the opening of the technopark in the field of high technologies “IT Park named after Bashir Rameev” in Kazan. The new Kazan IT Park is focused on creating comfortable conditions for the digital industry in order to implement new projects and develop start-ups. Rustam Minnikhanov noted that the main thing in the project is the possibility of developing children and youth through ongoing e-sports, tournaments on the “Games of the Future”.

The new Kazan IT-park is located on the territory of the former Spartak shoe factory. The entire service and public infrastructure is located on the first floor: a children's technopark, a cyber arena, conference rooms, and a catering area. The guests toured the gaming computer rooms, a platform for broadcasting e-sports competitions.
