The development of construction and housing programs in Tatarstan was discussed today at a round table in the Ministry of Construction, Architecture and Housing of the Republic of Tatarstan. The event was attended by Deputy Minister Ilshat Gimaev, as well as representatives of major developers of the republic and credit organizations.
During the round table, the participants discussed the revival of the real estate market and mortgage products.
“The key indicator and catalyst, of course, is a preferential mortgage. We can say with confidence that in two years almost 24 thousand preferential mortgage loans have been issued, totaling 63 billion rubles,” Ilshat Gimaev said. According to him, 3,270 preferential mortgage loans totaling $8 billion have been issued this year. 237 thousand rubles. “This is facilitated by banking programs that take place on a preferential mortgage with an interest rate of 7%,” he said.
As the speakers noted during the discussion, the main problems of mortgage lending development are a decrease in the level of income of the population, the lack of accumulation for the initial payment, as well as insufficient amount of maternity capital as a down payment.
