Alexey Frolov took part in the discussion of preparations for the International Construction Championship

Today, an online press conference dedicated to the preparatory stages of the II International Construction Championship was held at the site of the TASS press center. Aleksey Frolov, First Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing and Utilities of the Republic of Tatarstan, answered the questions of organizing and holding the event.

“This is the largest event in construction and urban planning this year, where participants will be able to exchange experiences and best solutions. The championship will be held on the territory of the modern Kazan-Expo exhibition center, which was built to host World Skills in 2019. 63 countries took part in the last event, the total number of participants was 270 thousand people. In terms of hospitality and organization for the participants, we have created all the conditions and the necessary infrastructure, including accommodation for guests,” Alexey Frolov said about the level of preparation and the planned event.

The participants also discussed the goals and scope of the future championship, tasks, key features.

The main vector of the event is aimed at finding strategic solutions in the construction industry in modern conditions. The priority tasks will be technological sovereignty, the development of domestic mechanisms and tools in construction, the creation of commercial chains in the market of the EAEU member countries.

The championship is designed to become a unifying platform for business and government, official employers, potential customers, as well as to develop the human resources potential of the Russian construction industry. Participants will be able to find partners and consolidate new agreements.

The International Championship in the field of industrial construction was established in February 2020 by the Ministry of Construction of Russia and the State Corporation Rosatom. The event was first held in April 2021 in Sochi. About 500 professional builders from Russia, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Egypt and Turkey competed for the title of the best. The winners received cash prizes ranging from 100 to 300 thousand rubles. In addition to the competitions, an extensive business program and an exhibition exposition of the event's partners were organized as part of the championship.

Recall that the II International Construction Championship will be held in autumn 2022 in Kazan on the territory of the Kazan Expo International Exhibition Center.
