Construction of an elevator started in Tatarstan
President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov launched the construction of the Sviyazhsk-Zernoprodukt elevator complex. The Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing and Communal Services of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Aizatullin took part in the launch ceremony.
The elevator for 2.4 billion rubles will be built on the territory of the Sviyazhsk Interregional Multimodal Logistics Center, and according to the plan, it should receive the first batches of grain as early as 2023.
At the first stage of commissioning, the capacity of the complex will be 112.5 thousand tons of grain, and then about 450 thousand tons. The capacity of its shipment, which will be provided thanks to productive conveyors, will be 700 tons per hour.
The implementation of the investment project will bring the republican budget 493 million rubles over 10 years, will allow diversifying the economy of the Zelenodolsk region, and increase employment.
