The Ministry of Construction of the Republic of Tatarstan discussed the prospects for the development of brick production

Prospects for the development of production and expansion of the use of bricks in the construction complex of Tatarstan were discussed today at the Ministry of Construction, Architecture and Housing of the Republic of Tatarstan. The meeting was held by Deputy Minister Ilshat Gimaev. The event was also attended by the chief architect of Kazan Ilsiyar Tukhvatullin, the chief architect of Naberezhnye Chelny Malika Shamsieva, the heads of brick factories, as well as representatives of the Kazan State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering.

During the meeting, the participants discussed the situation on the market for the production of ceramic and silicate bricks in Tatarstan and further prospects for the use of these products in facade solutions. The possibilities of creating a new type of brick and expanding the color scheme were also considered.

In his speech, Ilshat Gimaev noted that the republican brick factories have huge production capacities, which must be maintained in the current conditions and developed to expand the range and nomenclature of manufactured products.

Ilsiyar Tukhvatullina, the chief architect of the city of Kazan, spoke about trends in facade solutions and prospects for the use of bricks in Tatarstan.

In addition, during the discussion, proposals were voiced for the further development of the brick production industry in Tatarstan.
