In Tatarstan, the housing commissioning plan is almost half completed

Housing construction in Tatarstan is on schedule, 1 million 347 thousand square meters of housing have been commissioned, which is 49% of the annual plan and 128% of the level of 2021, Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing and Communal Services of the Republic of Tatarstan Ilshat Gimaev said today at a press conference in the Tatar-Inform news agency.

He noted that according to the volume of housing commissioning by the end of 2021, Tatarstan occupies a leading position (first place in the Volga Federal District and sixth place among the subjects of the Russian Federation). So, in 2021, more than 3 million square meters of housing were commissioned in the republic.

In Tatarstan, 103 commercial developers are engaged in housing construction, 208 apartment buildings with a total area of 1 million 964 thousand square meters are under construction.

Ilshat Gimaev also said that Tatarstan has switched to project financing. 97% of multi-family residential buildings are built using escrow accounts.

In addition, systematic work is being carried out in the Republic of Tatarstan to solve the problems of defrauded shareholders. From 2007 to 2021, 141 problematic shared-equity construction facilities with an area of 1 million 324 thousand square meters were put into operation and 18 equity holders were provided with housing.

Recall that in accordance with the national project "Housing and urban environment in the period from 2022 to 2030, it is planned to build a total of 28.4 million square meters of housing in the republic. The housing construction program consists of multi-apartment investment housing, low-rise housing construction, and the investment program of the State Housing Fund under the President of the Republic of Tatarstan.
