The II International Construction Championship will be held in Kazan
This became known during a meeting of the Federal Organizing Committee of the International Construction Championship chaired by the Minister of Construction and Housing of the Russian Federation Irek Fayzullin, which was attended by the Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Aizatullin.
The meeting was attended by Gennady Sakharov, Director of Capital Investments, State Construction Supervision and State Expertise of Rosatom State Corporation, Alexey Komissarov, Director General of ANO Russia – the Land of Opportunities, and representatives of partner organizations of the event.
Opening the meeting, the head of the Ministry of Construction of Russia Irek Fayzullin said: "The first International championship of professional skills in the field of industrial construction, which was held in April last year in Sochi, was an important stage in the joint work of the Ministry of Construction of Russia and the State Corporation Rosatom. Our joint efforts have created and opened a unique international platform. The Championship has become an international center for demonstrating construction competencies and technologies that have no analogues in the world. A platform was organized to discuss strategically important issues and make decisions on the development of industrial construction both in Russia and abroad. The championship has demonstrated a serious potential for further development. Today, its implementation is important in the context of the tasks set for the personnel transformation of the construction industry, increasing the productivity of specialists and the competitiveness of organizations of the construction complex. Also, the new Championship will be able to become a platform for the presentation of Russia as a leading construction power and the formation of effective production cooperation."
The participants discussed the plans and innovations of the II International Construction Championship. In particular, in 2022, students of specialized construction universities of Russia will take part in the general competition within the framework of the Student League held for the first time. Thus, three categories of participants are determined in the championship competitions: specialists of the largest Russian and foreign companies, independent participants and students.
In 2022, the International Construction Championship will join the presidential platform "Russia is a country of opportunities", so it is important for the organizers to provide an opportunity to participate in the competition to the widest possible range of people.
As a result of the meeting, the organizing committee announced the winner region of the competition for the right to host the event this year. Kazan has been chosen as the official site of the International Construction Championship in 2022. The championship will be held from October 5 to 8 at the Kazan Expo IEC.
Recall that the International Championship in the field of industrial construction was established in February 2020 by the Ministry of Construction of Russia and the State Corporation Rosatom. For the first time, the event was held in April 2021 in Sochi. About 500 professional builders from Russia, Kazakhstan, the Republic of Belarus, Egypt and Turkey competed for the title of the best.
