Issues in the field of solid municipal waste management were discussed at the Ministry of Construction, Architecture and Housing of the Republic of Tatarstan. The meeting was held by the Head of the Ministry of Construction of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Aizatullin.
The discussion was attended by the Commissioner under the President of the Republic of Tatarstan for the protection of the rights of entrepreneurs – Assistant to the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Farid Abdulganiev, Deputy of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan, Chairman of the Committee on Housing Policy and Infrastructure Development Alexander Tygin, as well as representatives of ministries and departments of the Republic of Tatarstan, regional operators of the Eastern and Western zones of activity of the Republic of Tatarstan and business representatives.
During the meeting, a number of issues related to the commercial accounting of municipal solid waste and their accumulation standards were considered.
Regulation of the turnover of municipal solid waste is one of the most relevant and exciting topics.
As noted by Marat Aizatullin, the Republic of Tatarstan initiated the adjustment of the method of commercial accounting based on the number and volume of containers for the accumulation of solid municipal waste, in terms of replacing the word "installed" with "exported" with the simultaneous approval of the methodology for their accounting. The replacement will allow the correct use of the method of commercial accounting based on the number and volume of containers on container sites, taking into account the fact of the removal of loaded containers in a garbage truck.
Recall that work on the measurement of solid municipal waste in the Republic of Tatarstan has been underway since January 2021. In 2022, it is planned to carry out additional measurements of municipal solid waste, as a result of which a corresponding draft resolution will be submitted to the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan. The number of categories of objects for which standards for the accumulation of solid municipal waste will be approved is planned to be expanded as much as possible.
