Voting starts today on the choice of parks and courtyards for 2023

From April 15 to May 30, residents of Tatarstan will be able to identify public spaces that, in their opinion, should be improved next year. In addition to the possibility of choosing parks, squares and embankments, Tatarstan citizens for the second year can vote for courtyards that will be updated as a priority under the Presidential program "Our Yard" in 2023.

The novelty of this year's voting in Tatarstan is the opportunity for teenagers from the age of 14 to take part. So, they can officially express their opinion and make their hometowns and towns more comfortable, beautiful, modern.

The survey includes the selection of priority public spaces for improvement in 2023 in all 45 districts of the republic. Residents will be able to vote only for one territory in a particular district or city. In total, 204 objects will be put to the vote in 2022 – these are parks, embankments, boulevards, streets, squares. The list of territories for voting was formed jointly with the administrations of municipalities, taking into account the results of the urban planning analysis and the results of last year's voting.

Public spaces are created and updated together with yard territories.  Thanks to such an integrated approach, courtyards are connected by convenient and safe routes with parks, and a unified urban network is formed.

The All-Russian voting takes place within the framework of the federal project "Formation of a comfortable urban environment" of the national project "Housing and Urban Environment" from April 15 to May 30 in all subjects of Russia.
