From April 15 to May 30, 2022, Tatarstan will host an All-Russian online voting on the selection of public and courtyard territories planned for improvement in 2023 as part of the implementation of the federal project "Formation of a comfortable urban environment" and the republican program "Our Yard". This was announced by the Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Aizatullin at a briefing in the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan.
Voting on the definition of priority projects in 2023 will be held on the Portal of state and municipal services of the Republic of Tatarstan through the service "Surveys of residents" and in the mobile application "Services of the Republic of Tatarstan".
From Tatarstan, 204 objects in 45 municipalities of the republic will be put to the vote. As Marat Aizatullin emphasized, "Tatarstan became the founder of the formation of the federal program."
In addition to public spaces, residents will be able to identify 200 yards that will be updated as a priority under the "Our Yard" program. 3087 households participate in the voting.
The head of the Department of architectural projects of the Foundation "Institute of Urban Development of the Republic of Tatarstan" Naila Zinnatullina told more about how the voting will take place.
"Citizens will be given two topics to choose from: they can take a survey on public spaces or on yard territories, or take both surveys and leave their opinion on the website of public services," Zinnatullina said.
The survey includes the selection of priority public spaces for improvement in 2023 in all 45 districts of the republic. Residents will be able to vote only for one territory in a particular district or city. "In total, 204 objects on public spaces were put to the vote in 2022. There are from three to 27 objects in each municipality, depending on how well the issues of urban spaces have been resolved. In Kazan, there are 27 facilities, in other municipalities from three to five," the speaker noted.
The list of territories for voting was formed jointly with the administrations of municipalities, taking into account the results of the urban planning analysis carried out by the team and the results of last year's voting.
It should be recalled that a total of 351 public spaces were equipped in the republic in the period from 2015 to 2021. (509 objects, including objects of the 2nd and 3rd stages). In 2022, 59 facilities worth 2.29 billion rubles are planned to be implemented as part of the federal project. In addition, within the framework of the Competition of Small Towns and Historical Settlements, 26 winning projects were implemented in 4 years (from 2018 to 2021). The amount of grants from the federal budget exceeded 1.6 billion rubles. This year, it is planned to implement 6 winning objects in the amount of 376 million rubles.
