Construction of the park will begin near the Knox River in May

In 2022, a set of measures is planned for the improvement of the "capricious" city river – the Knox, which floods the neighborhood during a flood. In May, construction of a park will begin on its shores. This was told at a "round table" in the Ministry of Construction of the Republic of Tatarstan. The event was attended by First Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing of the Republic of Tatarstan Alexey Frolov, Head of the Department of Architectural Projects of the Foundation "Institute of Urban Development of the Republic of Tatarstan" Nail Zinnatullina, Deputy General Director of the company "Ak Bars Development" Ilya Lekarev, architect of the project of the park "Light Valley" Ruzal Farkhullin.

Alexey Frolov noted that developers who implement their projects near Noxa understand the nuances associated with the coastal territory, study walking routes.

Now there are several residential complexes near the river, kindergartens and a school have already been built, the second school will enter the stage of active construction this year. According to Alexey Frolov, the leadership of the region has set the department the task of complex development of the territory of the republic. Residential development should be accompanied by objects of social and other infrastructure, as well as public spaces.

The architect of the project of the park "Light Valley" Ruzal Farkhullin said that in 2022 a network of paths will be built in the park and lighting will be installed. In general, according to him, the first stage of construction of the Light Valley Park includes the construction of a leisure center with a cafe, as well as workout and recreation areas are planned. The second stage will cover the central part of the park, where a playground, a stage with a canopy and a dog walking area will be built. Throughout the territory, visitors will have access to water.

The architect said that the new park is planned to be combined with the already existing Vesna Park due to bicycle and pedestrian paths under the bridge over the Mamadyshsky Tract, which will link two large recreation areas into a single whole.

According to R. Farkhullin, all functional zones that were planned in neighboring territories were taken into account during the design so that there would be no repetitions.

Among the advantages of the territory, the architect noted the presence of large-sized trees. According to him, the main idea of the entire territory of Noxa is the maximum conservation of nature.

The First Deputy Minister said that the construction dates will not be shifted, since the project budget has already been approved.

"Budgets and limits have been approved. There are contracts and federal support. From the point of view of work, I think that after the May holidays they can be deployed on all fronts. I don't see any restrictions," he said.
