In Tatarstan, 1.3 billion rubles will be allocated to provide water to settlements in 2022

In 2022, the amount of financing for measures to provide settlements with high-quality water supply by the decision of the President of the Republic Rustam Minnikhanov was doubled: from 650 million to 1.3 billion rubles. This was announced by the Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Aizatullin at the final board of the department.

He informed that 79 drainage systems operate in Tatarstan. Modernization work will continue on 18 of them in 2022. About 500 million rubles will be allocated from the regional budget for these purposes.

"All these are, of course, very significant steps in the process of modernization of engineering infrastructure, but the amount of necessary investments is still many times the amount of funds already invested: according to our estimates, almost 17 billion rubles are required to carry out a comprehensive modernization of treatment facilities," the minister said.

In 2021, within the framework of regional and federal programs, over 1 thousand facilities worth 5.7 billion rubles were built and modernized in Tatarstan.

In 2022, the organizations of the municipal complex of the republic plan to implement 23 investment programs worth about 9 billion rubles.
