In Tatarstan, by the end of 2021, more than 3 million square meters of housing were put into operation. The growth driver was individual housing construction. This was stated by the Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Aizatullin at the board dedicated to the results of the department's activities in 2021 and plans for 2022. The event was held in the IEC of the IEC "Kazan Expo".

"One of the main results of the year in the construction industry is the record rates of housing commissioning. With a plan of 2 million 670 thousand square meters, 3 million 11 thousand 451 square meters were commissioned. The main driver of growth was individual housing construction - it accounted for 2/3 of the total plan. More than 2 million square meters have been commissioned. This is 15 thousand 329 houses," the minister said.

In addition, the republic last year came out on top in Russia for the introduction of problematic shared housing. 9 problem houses with a total area of 187 thousand sq. m. for 2.4 thousand people were completed in Tatarstan for deceived shareholders.
