Rustam Minnikhanov, Head of the Nizhnekamsk Chemical-Technological Institute and the Nizhnekamsk Pedagogical College, visited the Nizhnekamsk Chemical-Technological Institute and the Nizhnekamsk Pedagogical College. Ilnar Khafizov, Director of the State University of Management of the Republic of Tatarstan, attended the event.
At the Nizhnekamsk Chemical-Technological Institute, major renovations of the central building were completed this year. The building's roof was renovated, interior finishing work was completed, and utility systems were replaced. In addition, modern equipment was installed in the laboratories.
Rustam Minnikhanov noted that the Nizhnekamsk Chemical-Technological Institute is an important educational and scientific center for the republic. He also called for more active development of dual education.
The Head of the Tatarstan was also informed that the Sibur Intech project to support the competence and training of specialists will be implemented at the Nizhnekamsk Chemical-Technological Institute. The opening of the training center will improve the quality of training for workers in the petrochemical industry. The center will have a total area of 3,200 square meters and will house 48 classrooms. Training will be offered in 11 areas.
Rustam Minnikhanov then visited the Nizhnekamsk Pedagogical College. It opened in 1981. Today, approximately 800 students study there—future educators, primary school teachers, and physical education teachers. Following a major renovation, the college's grounds now house a unified educational space. The renovated classrooms are equipped with new equipment.
