February 7 is the Day of the State Emblem of the Republic of Tatarstan. The state emblem of the Republic of Tatarstan was approved by the Resolution of the Supreme Council of the Republic of Tatarstan on February 7, 1992. The authors of the coat of arms are Doctor of Philological Sciences Nazim Khanzafarov and muralist, member of the Union of Artists of Tatarstan Rif Fakhrutdinov.
In the coat of arms of the Republic of Tatarstan, the leopard is the patron saint of the citizens of the republic and its people. It is not for nothing that the leopard is depicted against the background of the red disk of the sun, because the sun was the main deity of many peoples in ancient times. The popular Tatar floral ornament and tulip flower represent the awakening of spring nature and symbolize the revival of Tatarstan. And three golden circles, covering the coat of arms on three levels, express the idea of unity, infinity and supreme perfection.
On this memorable day we wish everyone peace, goodness and happiness!
