The opening of block “G” of the infectious diseases hospital in Naberezhnye Chelny after a major overhaul
Marcel Minnullin got acquainted with the results of a major overhaul of the last medical building of the infectious diseases hospital - block "G", which includes boxes for especially dangerous infections. The event was attended by the mayor of Naberezhnye Chelny Nail Magdeev, Deputy Head of the Executive Committee Ramil Khalimov, and head of the health department Rustam Nugmanov.
The infectious diseases hospital is the oldest medical institution in the city, which required large-scale renovation work. The hospital serves the population of the motor city and 17 districts of the republic. Since 2018, at the expense of the republican budget, a phased overhaul of blocks A, B, B1, B2, D has been carried out here, with a total area of more than 32 thousand square meters with the allocation of more than 2.8 billion rubles, including for medical equipment .
Construction and installation work of block “G”, with an area of more than 7 thousand square meters, has been completed. The medical building consists of a reception and diagnostic department, infectious diseases departments and 38 Meltzer boxes. After major renovations, the hospital was completely transformed. The renovation was done in accordance with all the requirements of Russian standards. The boxes are equipped with a bathroom, disinfectant, and air conditioning. Each bed has a vacuum suction unit with oxygen supply and a staff call button. In addition, in case of admission of patients with particularly dangerous infections, a transfer window is provided from the room to the corridor, allowing to minimize contact with infection.
The delegation inspected the renovated premises and gave a good assessment of the quality of the work performed.
- This is a clinic of the same level as the Republican Infectious Diseases Hospital. In fact, the republic is divided into two parts, and all of Zakamye is the prerogative of this hospital. All infectious patients in Zakamye who require specialized care should be admitted here. The bed capacity is sufficient, the equipment is modern, new, and good.
