The grand opening of the renovated building of the Buinsky Drama Theater took place
The grand opening of the renovated drama theater took place in Buinsk. The opening ceremony was attended by Rais of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, Minister of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan Irada Ayupova, head of the Buinsky district Ranis Kamartdinov and other officials.
As a result of reconstruction, the building has created conditions for performances and rehearsals of professional artists and musical groups. In addition, the total area increased to 4 thousand square meters. m, and the capacity of the hall is more than 400 people.
Rustam Minnikhanov emphasized that the Buinsky Drama Theater carries out an important mission to popularize the culture of theatrical art of the peoples of the Republic of Tatarstan. “Wonderful team, very strong leader. The main thing is that you are not limited to your perimeter: you tour the regions of Russia, travel to other countries. This is a lot of important work, which is being carried out, among other things, within the framework of strengthening ties with our compatriots abroad,” said Rais of Tatarstan.
Minister of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan Irada Ayupova noted: “This is one of the oldest theaters in our republic, which celebrated its centenary in 2017. Various festivals are regularly held here.”
The theater was reconstructed as part of the national project “Culture”.
