The mayor of Kazan, Ilsur Metshin, visited school No. 135 after major renovations. This year, the catering unit was updated here - the dining room space was reformatted, the design, furniture, and equipment were updated.
Thanks to the renovation, the problem with the lack of seats in the dining room was solved. Now the number of seats has increased: from 180 to 196.
For the school restaurant, window openings, internal doors, ventilation, sewerage, ceiling coverings, as well as floor and wall tiles, water and electricity supplies were replaced.
In addition to improving the functionality of the dining room, the design has been changed - now several pastel shades are harmoniously combined, mirrors have been installed, and flower pots have appeared. The school restaurant looks modern and fresh.
“The number of seats in the canteen has increased, as has the attendance of schoolchildren. Products are being wasted much less frequently. Perhaps the new renovated cafeteria has such a positive effect on the students. The work in the canteen took place in the summer, from June to August, and was completed on time,” said school director Liliya Yusupova.
“Of course, the most important thing is the teaching staff, the school director, and his team. But in what conditions our teachers study and teach children is important. Thanks to Rais of the Republic Rustam Nurgalievich Minnikhanov, who systematically pays attention to this. Of course, there is still a large amount of work to be done, many schools have not been repaired, but what has been done this year is of good quality,” said Kazan Mayor Ilsur Metshin.
