Repair and restoration work of the cultural heritage “Kazan branch of the Noble Land Bank, 1914”, at the address st. Butlerova, 40/11
The building was built in 1914-1915 by architect P.P. Golyshev for the Kazan branch of the Noble Bank, which was engaged in providing financial support to bankrupt hereditary nobles, and for the branch of the Peasant Land Bank, which was engaged in mediation between peasants and large landowners in the purchase and sale of land.
In 1920, the Kazan Institute for Advanced Medical Studies (KIDUV) was located in this building. A number of major scientific schools developed important problems of medicine within the framework of scientific research at the Kazan State Institute of Medical Sciences.
In April 2022, the State Autonomous Institution “Department of State Expertise and Pricing of the Republic of Tatarstan for Construction and Architecture” approved the design and estimate documentation for repair and restoration work to preserve the cultural heritage site “Kazan Branch of the Noble Land Bank, 1914”.
Repair and restoration work began in May 2022. The total area of the building is 3571.2 sq.m. The building has 2 floors and one basement.
At the moment, all major work has been completed. The roof, doors, building façade, and window openings have been repaired. The existing plaster and wooden floors were dismantled. The walls and ceilings have been plastered and painted, and the floor tiles have been laid. Installation of engineering systems and restoration work were carried out. Currently, commissioning work is being carried out and the necessary equipment is being installed.
