Rustam Minnikhanov inspected the new residential complex «Sandugach» in Kazan
Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov visited the new residential complex «Sandugach» in the microdistrict «Salavat Kupere» in Kazan. He was accompanied by Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin, Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Aizatullin and Executive Director of the State Housing Fund under the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Zaripov.
Construction of the residential complex «Sandugach» started in 2020. It consists of 18 residential buildings with 1716 apartments. All the houses are occupied today. New buildings built at the expense of investments of the State Housing Fund are inhabited by public sector workers and enterprises, young families, medical workers - recipients of grants, as well as orphans.
All apartments are fully ready for living, equipped with plumbing, electric stoves, fire alarm sensors, water meters, electricity meters, heat regulators and an automatic remote data reading system.
The principle of building a residential complex was formed taking into account the opinions of citizens. The concept of «yards without cars» has been introduced in the houses. On the territory of the courtyards there are games, sports, green areas and recreation areas. Noisy areas have been moved outside the courtyards to a pedestrian boulevard 400 meters long.
