Tariffs for utilities will change in Tatarstan

Starting July 1, all types of utilities will rise in price in Tatarstan. Residents of the republic will receive a payment document with new tariffs in August. Changes in tariffs will occur within the framework of the Forecast of socio-economic development of Russia and in the Republic of Tatarstan will not exceed 6.2%.

 

Permissible increase is determined based on the forecast of average annual price growth. The government sets cap indexes for fee increases in each region. This applies to tariffs for heating, hot and cold water, sewerage, gas, electricity and garbage collection.

 

An annual review of tariffs for communal resources in case of changes in economic conditions is necessary to maintain the stable operation of the republic's communal enterprises, ensure the availability and quality of communal services for consumers.

 

The funds included in the tariffs are aimed at servicing the communal infrastructure. 17 thousand km of water supply networks, 5.6 thousand km. sewerage networks, 3 thousand km. heating networks, 16.14 thousand km. cable power lines, 81.09 thousand km. overhead power lines, 900 heat supply sources (boiler houses, stations), 1500 water supply sources (wells, water intake, etc.),  

109 biological treatment facilities, 300 sewage pumping stations, 38 landfills, etc.

 

Recall that utility rates increase once a year - on July 1.
