The Republic of Tatarstan annually occupies a leading position in terms of housing commissioning and is included in the list of subjects - leaders of the Russian Federation. At a press conference at the Tatar-inform news agency, Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture, Housing and Communal Services of the Republic of Tatarstan Ilshat Gimaev said that 2,682.8 thousand square meters of housing were built in 2021, which is 100.5% of the annual plan. “The prospects for the development of individual construction are great: this year, more than 1.7 thousand square meters of housing were commissioned. No less is expected next year, development is very active,” - said the Deputy Minister. In 2021, within the framework of the implementation of national projects, state, regional, republican programs, as well as extra-program activities, 151 social and cultural facilities were built in Tatarstan with a total funding of more than 24 billion rubles. Including in the field of education, 17 kindergartens with a total capacity of 3,220 places were built, 7 general educational organizations for 7,359 student places, 65 facilities in the health sector, 26 facilities in the field of sports development and 6 facilities in the field of culture. In order to prevent the emergence of new problematic objects of shared construction, the Government of the Russian Federation and the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan are constantly developing effective mechanisms to ensure the protection of the rights of citizens participating in shared construction, one of which is project financing for construction, which has been in effect since July 1, 2019. In the Republic of Tatarstan, systematic work is also underway to solve the problems of defrauded equity holders. At the end of 2021, the construction of 9 problem houses with an area of ​​187.3 thousand square meters for 2,356 defrauded equity holders was completed.
