Rustam Minnikhanov proposed to extend the preferential mortgage program in Russia until 2024
Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in a joint meeting of the Board of the Ministry of Construction of Russia and the Commission of the State Council of the Russian Federation in the direction of "construction, housing and communal services, urban environment". The meeting was held in Moscow under the chairmanship of Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Marat Khusnullin. The event was also attended by Assistant to the President of Russia, Secretary of the State Council Igor Levitin, Minister of Construction and Housing of the Russian Federation Irek Fayzullin.
Recall that Rustam Minnikhanov heads the State Council Commission on Construction, Housing and Communal Services and the urban environment.
Rustam Minnikhanov noted that last year the draft Strategy for the development of the construction industry and housing and communal Services of Russia was considered in detail. All regions took part in this work and sent their proposals, the main part of which was taken into account when finalizing it. In general, the draft Strategy has been approved and submitted for consideration by the Presidium of the State Council of the Russian Federation.
"In the future, the President of the country will achieve the goal set by the strategy - by 2030, 120 million square meters will be commissioned annually. m housing. to achieve the goal of commissioning the Metrostroy, it is necessary to focus on a number of issues. One of them is to ensure the demand for new housing. One of the main measures of the strategy on this issue is the preferential mortgage program, which will apply only to certain categories of citizens. At the same time, the draft strategy does not yet provide for other real tools to stimulate demand for housing. In this regard, it is proposed to extend the program until 2024, while maintaining an interest rate of 7% per annum for all categories of citizens, and also consider increasing the loan amount from 3 to 6 million rubles. In addition, we propose to include the purchase of individual housing in the preferential mortgage program. And this will help to restrain the growth of prices in the primary market," Rustam Minnikhanov said in his speech.
In the course of communication with representatives of the mass media, Rustam Minnikhanov stated about the effectiveness of the work of the State Council Commission on Construction Issues. "The decisions approved by the President of Russia in 2019 have yielded positive results. But today we face new challenges. We have studied in detail the development strategy of the construction industry and housing and communal services, proposals from all regions were taken into account. The most important thing is that in this strategy a large block is devoted to housing and communal services. This is a very difficult and necessary topic. There is full agreement with the government, the Parliament supports us. We hope that the President of the country will support our initiatives and there will be good joint work," Rustam Minnikhanov stressed.
