Readiness of the school on the street. Homeland accounts for 25.5%
In the Sovetsky district of Kazan, next to the residential complex “Novye Gorki” on Rodiny Street, a school for 1224 places is being built.
Today, the direction of the educational institution has already been determined - environmental and technological profile. The educational institution, which is being built under the national Education project, will be equipped with a dining room for 612 seats, an expanded gym and specialized classrooms for chemistry and biology. The overall percentage of school readiness is 25.5%. The mayor of Kazan, Ilsur Metshin, got acquainted with the progress of construction work today.
The school will be located in a building with an area of 25.4 thousand square meters. The three floors will house classrooms, a 612-seat dining hall, and an assembly hall.
The educational institution plans to in-depth study of biology and chemistry (microbiology, organic, inorganic and analytical chemistry), as well as industrial ecology and ecobiotechnology. Graduates of the school will be able to solve resource-saving environmental and technological problems aimed at improving the quality of life of people.
The direction of the school will be environmental and technological; the name has also already been decided - “Motherland”, so the design concept is related to the theme of nature. For example, on the walls it will be possible to read the names of geographical objects of Tatarstan - this way students will be able to better remember information; trees, plants, flowers, animals and fish will be depicted. The furniture will be made of chipboard or porcelain stoneware with imitation wood.
“Before children become specialists, it is important that they grow up in love and harmony with the nature that surrounds them. And then we studied subjects related to environmental technology - biology, chemistry. It turns out to be such an extraordinary and interesting school. It would seem that the building structure is the same everywhere, but one school, thanks to its design, is absolutely different from another. For me, let’s say, a couple of river names were a revelation; I didn’t even know that we had such rivers in our republic. Children will grow up to know their nature and the world around them. It is very important not only to educate them morally, to give them the knowledge for which they come to school, but also to raise them as patriots of the ecology of Tatarstan,” emphasized Ilsur Metshin.
The gym with an area of 508.97 sq.m. will be decorated in colors reminiscent of the Universiade, which was held in the capital of the Republic of Tatarstan in 2013. “We need to leave this in history. Children should grow up and remember the great history of their hometown, republic and country, remember that we held the best Universiade, after which 10 years have passed. A very correct decision,” the mayor praised the approach to the design of the gym.
On the school grounds there will be sports grounds for high school and junior high school students, running tracks, including a jumping pit, and outdoor exercise equipment. There will also be an area for schoolchildren where they can play football, basketball or volleyball. Arborvitae, maples, lilacs, aspens, junipers, hydrangeas and mock oranges will be planted outside. Various small architectural forms will also be installed on the territory.
Deputy Director of the State Public Institution “Glavinveststroy RT” Ilnur Kalimullin also took part in the inspection of the school.
