Reclamation of the Samosyrovsky landfill in Kazan is 86 percent complete

Work continues on the reclamation of the Samosyrovsky landfill on the street. Mamadyshsky tract of the city of Kazan within the framework of the federal project "Clean Country" of the national project "Ecology". The facility is 86% complete.

At the moment, specialists at the site are completing work on installing a degassing system - 90%, installing a fertile soil layer - 77.84%, sowing grass - 61.10%.

The main goal of reclamation is to reduce the possible negative impact of an inactive landfill on the soil, groundwater and atmosphere, ensuring the further possibility of using the reclaimed territory in accordance with the functional zoning of Kazan.
