New rules for connecting capital construction facilities to water supply and sanitation systems have been approved

In March, new rules for connection (technological connection) of capital construction facilities to centralized hot and cold water supply and (or) drainage systems came into force. The rules contain a detailed connection procedure, as well as explanations of the concepts used.

The new rules significantly simplify and regulate in detail the connection procedure, shorten the time for connecting capital construction facilities to the specified engineering and technical support networks, and also establish a number of features of its implementation within the framework of the integrated development of the territory.

So, the new rules are established:

- the procedure for issuing technical conditions for connection (technological connection) of connected objects to centralized hot water supply, cold water supply and (or) drainage systems used for architectural and construction design;

- the procedure for concluding a contract on connection (technological connection) of projected, under construction, reconstructed or constructed, but not connected to centralized hot water supply, cold water supply and (or) drainage systems of connected objects, etc.

The new rules also determine that the application for connection and the necessary documents can be provided through a Single portal of state and municipal services or the official website of the service provider.

Previously issued acts and separate provisions on this issue have been declared invalid.

The resolution will be valid until March 1, 2028.
