The Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing and Communal Services of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Aizatullin reported on the improvement of the quality of public services provided today at a meeting in the Government House of the Republic of Tatarstan.

The President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov held a videoconference meeting with all municipal districts. The meeting was attended by the Prime Minister of Tatarstan Alexey Pesoshin.

According to Marat Aizatullin, in January, the level of collection of payments for housing and communal services in Tatarstan averaged 95.7%. This is 1.2% higher than last year. The average annual level was 99.1%, which is 0.3% higher than in the same period of 2020. As of February 1, in 22 municipalities, the average annual level of collection is below the national average. 23 municipalities exceeded the average republican level.

The amount of the population's debt for housing and communal services as of February 1, 2022 amounted to 8.2 billion rubles. This is almost a two-month accrual of payments. In 6 municipalities, the debt amounted to two or more months. The debt in the amount of one to two months has 21 municipalities. The most disciplined in this regard are 18 districts in which the total debt for housing and communal services does not exceed one month.

The share of payments made in electronic format has significantly increased. Now the average level of electronic payments in the republic is 72%. In other words, every third utility payment is made by citizens remotely. Districts, in turn, show completely different indicators in this part. Thus, in 8 municipal districts, the share of electronic payments has not yet reached 50%. In 30 districts, the share of online payments ranges from 50 to 72%. Seven municipalities demonstrate the level of electronic payments above the average in Tatarstan.

In conclusion, the Minister spoke about the implementation of flood prevention measures. With the onset of spring and an increase in outdoor temperature, most of the territories of municipalities, especially coastal areas, are prone to flooding due to snowmelt. This winter, a large amount of precipitation fell on the territory of the republic, as a result of which the probability of flooding of multi-apartment and individual residential buildings, as well as social and communal facilities increased.

"I ask the heads to take special control over the issue of organizing flood control measures on the territory of the municipal district and ensure the smooth functioning of life support facilities during the spring flood," added Marat Aizatullin.
