The State Expertise of Tatarstan has analyzed the data of digital information models of construction objects

The introduction of information modeling technologies makes it possible to reduce the time spent on expertise, eliminate errors at the early stages of project development and reliably determine the cost of the object. This decision was reached by experts of the State Expertise and Pricing Department of the Republic of Tatarstan for Construction and Architecture based on the results of checking digital information models of capital construction facilities of the republic for various types of errors during the examination of design and estimate documentation.

Automated checks were carried out on a specialized software package using information modeling technologies.

The results of the inspection are included in the positive conclusion of the examination. If digital information models correspond to design solutions, the conclusion contains a description of the consolidated model and recommendations for improving quality. In case of inconsistency of digital information models with design solutions, comments are sent to the applicant by a separate information letter.

How does the creation of automated verification work?

- First, it is necessary to describe the verification from the codes of rules and regulatory documentation in a machine-readable form. To do this, it is necessary to highlight the key points on which the model will be tested, which, if necessary, can be adapted to the needs of a specific project.

- Having decided on the purpose and type of verification, its creation takes place. After that, testing is necessarily carried out on small models to make sure that the check works correctly.

- Next, the tool is configured directly to work with the model, the test is started and the result is output.

- After which it is necessary to conduct an analysis. If no problems are found, then the check is passed. If found, then there are two options: either the tool behaves incorrectly and requires a new revision, or there really is an error in the model that needs to be corrected. The correction takes place either manually or by the system, if its capabilities include the suggestion of elimination and the elimination of errors itself.

GAU "UGETS RT" has developed about 30 automated checks.
