Rustam Minnikhanov visits the second line of the Kazan Metro under construction
Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov together with Minister of Construction, Architecture, Housing and Utility Sector of the republic Marat Ayzatullin, Head of the Volga Department of the Federal Environmental, Industrial and Nuclear Supervision Service of Russia Azat Mubarakshin and Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin visited the section of the second line of the Kazan metro at the intersection of Lomzhinskaya and Fuchik streets under construction.
Here the tunneling machine reached the ground surface, having completed the tunneling of the first section of the second line of the Kazan Metro.
The first section, 5.37 km long, will include four stations: Zilant, Akademicheskaya, 100th Anniversary of the TASSR and Tulpar.
Minnikhanov talked to employees of Kazmetrostroy, metro building company. Director General of the company Marat Rakhimov reported on the progress of work.
