Marat Aizatullin took part in the plenary session of the 72nd International Scientific Conference on the Problems of Architecture and Construction

The event was timed to coincide with the Year of Science and Technology announced in Russia and the 100th anniversary of the construction industry in Tatarstan. Today, the final plenary session of the 72nd International Scientific Conference on Architecture and Construction was held at the Kazan State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering, in which the Minister of Construction, Architecture, Housing and Communal Services of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Aizatullin took part. The meeting with representatives of the scientific community began with a minute of silence on the victims of the shooting at a school in Kazan. Starting his speech, the minister noted that at all times the construction industry has played a special role in the development of the economy of any country, being its driver and at the same time a factor of stability. It is in the construction processes that material benefits are created that contribute to the satisfaction of the natural needs of society and humans in a comfortable living environment, and fixed assets are formed for all other sectors of the economy. In his speech, the head of the Ministry of Construction also recalled that from 2009 to 2018, 2.4 million square meters of housing were commissioned in Tatarstan annually. And that over the past two years this figure has grown to 2 million 680 thousand square meters. “The increase in the volume of housing construction by 2030 to 120 million square meters per year in Russia is a key indicator for the construction industry, which was determined by the President of our country, Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin, as part of the achievement of the National Goals “Comfortable and Safe Environment for Life”. The republic is facing an ambitious task to introduce 3.5 million square meters by this date,” - Marat Aizatullin emphasized.

During the meeting, the plenary participants discussed topical issues related to digitalization of the construction industry, environmental support of construction projects, integrated development of territories, energy efficiency and the prospects for the development of renewable energy. The meeting was attended by the rector of the Kazan State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor Rashit Nizamov, Vice-Rector for Research Work of the Kazan State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering, Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor Yevgeny Vdovin and representatives of the scientific community. In addition, scientific and pedagogical workers of the University - candidates for doctoral degrees - Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Heat Power Engineering, Gas Supply and Ventilation Arslan Ziganshin and Candidate of Art History, Associate Professor of the Department of Design Alexandrina Mikhailova made reports.
