In Salavat Kuper, the construction of a polyclinic is in full swing, which will become the largest primary care medical facility in Kazan. It will serve 60 thousand people from the attached population not only of the microdistrict itself, but also of the surrounding territories. Patients will receive outpatient and 24-hour inpatient care. One building with an area of over 10 thousand square meters will house adult and children's clinics, day hospitals, antenatal clinics, an infectious diseases department and a medical examination area, a trauma center, and an ambulance service station. The complex will be equipped with modern high-tech medical equipment.
The mayor of Kazan, Ilsur Metshin, during a visit to the construction site, emphasized the importance of building a large multidisciplinary clinic on the territory of a new, actively developing microdistrict, the number of residents in which is rapidly increasing.
“We are building a clinic taking into account the growth of the population of the microdistrict. 30 thousand people live in Salavat Kuper, and our clinic will serve 60 thousand,” noted the head of the city.
In general, following the results of the previous 10 years, the capital of Tatarstan continues to be a leader in the construction of medical institutions - 16 clinics and 5 hospitals were built - and other social facilities, the mayor noted.
“Last year alone, one million 300 thousand square meters of housing were commissioned in the city. Salavat Kuper is no exception: we are adding new houses, educational institutions, and last year we opened a park. The largest clinic in the city will soon open in Salavat Cooper. We hope to deliver the facility by City Day. There is a lack of funding, but this issue will be resolved,” he noted.
To date, construction work has been completed by 53%. The building structure has been fully erected, brickwork of walls and partitions has been laid, and the roof has been installed. Finishing work, installation of utilities and window units are currently underway in the building of the future clinic.
Deputy General Director for Architectural Environment Design of Tatinvestgrazhdanproekt Elena Valeeva presented the concept for the design of the premises to the mayor. The interior will be made in shades of green and dedicated to the theme “Man is part of the ecosystem.” In the children's department, the walls will be illustrated based on fairy tales, business boards will be installed, and a soft carpet will be laid. In the adult block there will be interactive boards with which you can get acquainted with the advice of doctors - all you need to do is scan a QR code.
“Beautiful and dignified, we hope it will be even better in life than in the pictures. The situation is such that you immediately want to get well or lead a healthy lifestyle. With every project we grow with new ideas,” said Ilsur Metshin.
The new clinic will be subordinate to the city clinical hospital No. 12, which is one of the largest medical institutions in Tatarstan. Almost 40 thousand people are attached to the hospital's clinics. It employs 600 doctors - surgeons, therapists, cardiologists, neurologists, traumatologists, etc. The bed capacity is designed for 410 patients.
Deputy Director of the State Public Institution “GISU RT” Nikitenko Viktor Nikolaevich took part in the visit to the construction site of the new clinic.
