In kindergarten No. 163 with the Tatar language of education and training, the Volga region of Kazan has completed a major overhaul. Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin visited the renovated kindergarten.
The institution, designed for 150 pupils, was equipped with music and sports halls, a traffic rules study room, and a sports and playground. Thanks to the work carried out in the kindergarten, theater and art studios with instruction in the Tatar language will open, and artists from the Kariev Theater will be involved in working with the students
“Creating conditions for little Kazan residents is paramount. To the four new schools that we commissioned this year, to the renovated summer and country camps, and teenage clubs, seven updated preschool education institutions will be added. Over the past ten years, we have managed to renovate 93 kindergartens, and this is not just the walls. The most important thing is a team that loves children. It is important to provide additional education in various areas,” noted Ilsur Metshin.
During the overhaul, workers completely renovated the roof, facade, utility networks, entrance group, waterproofed the basement walls, installed new windows, repaired the bathrooms and utility unit, and the institution purchased new equipment and furniture.
It is important that, simultaneously with the overhaul of the building, the area next to the kindergarten was landscaped - a full-fledged sports and playground appeared in place of the vacant lot, where physical education classes will be held in warm weather. Also, a small vegetable garden was built for kindergarteners, shady canopies were installed, and the walking area was decorated with MAFs.
