Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing and Communal Services of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Aizatullin monitored the progress of construction of a secondary school on the street. Sibgat Khakim, Kazan. The school for 1,224 places is being built as part of the national Education project.
“Today, the school’s readiness is estimated at 70%. More than 1.5 billion rubles have been allocated for the prompt implementation of repair work; all contractors are on schedule. By July 1, it is planned to fully complete construction and installation work, provision of furniture and landscaping of the territory,” said Marat Aizatullin.
At the moment, internal bricklaying, installation of load-bearing metal structures, waterproofing of basement walls, installation of windows, installation of a heating main, and installation of elevators have been completed. Installation of utility networks at the site is being completed. Currently, interior finishing work and landscaping are underway.
In a four-story building with a total area of 24,508 sq. m, on the ground floor there will be offices, two swimming pools and a dining room. An assembly hall, two gyms, a library and offices will be equipped on the second and third floors.
The educational institution will be adapted for children with disabilities: the building will have elevators and ramps at the entrances. It is planned to place grounds for basketball, volleyball, tennis and a football field on the school grounds.
