Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing of the Republic of Tatarstan Ildus Nasyrov informed at a round table held in the Ministry of Construction of the Republic of Tatarstan about the need to replace 32% of water supply and 38% of sewer networks in the Republic (1.8 thousand km).
"In total, more than 3 million cubic meters of water are produced in the republic per day, of which 32% is supplied to the population, and the rest is for industrial needs. 18.5 thousand kilometers of water supply networks have been laid to deliver water to consumers. 32% of water supply networks today, according to the estimates of enterprises, are subject to replacement," Ildus Nasyrov said.
The municipal infrastructure of the budget of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Russian Federation and extra-budgetary sources last year supported 5.7 billion rubles. In 2022, the amount increased 2.5 times to 13.9 billion rubles, of which 9 billion rubles will be found in extra-budgetary sources.: these are investment programs of enterprises and loans.
Extremely high wear of networks and regular emergencies led to the approval by the deputies of the Kazgorduma of the draft decree of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov on the marginal indices of changes in the amount of utility bills for 2022-2024, according to which it is planned to increase water and sewerage tariffs over the official inflation rate in the capital of the Republic of Tatarstan within three years.
"Tariffs change from July 1. The average index for Tatarstan is set at 6.2%. The same value will be for most municipalities. For 57 municipalities, the maximum permissible deviation was used, which is set at 3% for the republic. A limit index has been set for Kazan with an excess of 13% for 2022," First Deputy Chairman of the RT State Committee on Tariffs Larisa Khabibullina said.
Today, residents of Kazan pay 22.3 rubles per cubic meter for cold water, 19.5 rubles per cubic meter for drainage. From July 1, 2022, the price of water supply will increase by 2.5 rubles to 24.8 rubles per cubic meter, sanitation will rise in price by 8 rubles to 27.6 rubles per cubic meter.
Vodokanal will direct the funds received due to the tariff increase to repair the main collectors on the streets: Chistopolskaya, Parina, Dubravnaya, Ershova, Gudovantseva, Vosstaniya, Krasnokokshayskaya, Yamasheva Ave. It is also planned to carry out repair work of quarterly water pipes on the streets: Adel Kutuya, Tolstoy, Lomzhinskaya, Nazarbayev, Kul Gali, Decembrists, Mavlyutov, Gladilov, Serov, Shchapov, Arkhangelsk and Dorozhnaya.
