Deputy Minister of Construction of the Republic of Tatarstan: Tatarstan provides itself with building materials

Tatarstan is provided with all types of construction materials, Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing of the Republic of Tatarstan Ilshat Gimaev said during a press tour to the Koshchak Brick Factory.

"Now the construction of residential buildings is actively underway, so there are practically no stocks in the factory warehouses of building materials. But this does not mean a shortage of goods, it is simply bought up quickly. Tatarstan is fully provided with construction materials," he said.

Director of the Koshchakovsky brick Factory Alexander Loginov also added that the company has no problems with import substitution. "Nothing has changed with us: the plant continues to operate at full capacity. We extract our own raw materials, clay, from four quarries, and subsequently transport them. The issue of import substitution concerns only equipment, or rather parts that are becoming unusable," Loginov said, adding that if necessary, the plant orders components in Naberezhnye Chelny. According to the director of the company, the equipment can also be supplied from China.

Alexander Loginov said that the company is expanding the range of products. "Against the background of the usual light shades of bricks, we plan to experiment with textures and colors of products. For example, our team has been using angobbing a lot lately," he commented.

Ilshat Gimayev noted that there is a powerful production base of construction materials in the republic. The republic provides not only itself with them, but also supplies them to other regions of Russia.
